The 65 year old Full house Alum, who just a few days ago announced his diagnosis of stage 3 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, shared more details about how his wellness coach wife, with whom he has worked for over a decade, supported him in the fight helps against the disease, especially when it comes to nutrition.

“She put together a complete nutrition plan for me,” he explained People.
His wife recently started her own holistic wellness company, Live Well Lead Well, “so my fridge has color-coded foods and nutritious protein,” he continued.
Melissa also made another big change to her husband’s meals: “She cut all sugar out of my diet.”
The company came about after they hit it off Fuller house Production assistant Melanie Samuelswho then became a nutritionist.
“Mel And Mel came together and they realized, ‘We’re on the same path here, why don’t we do something together?’ So they started this company, Live Well Lead Well,” he explained to the outlet, adding that he told his wife: “Maybe that’s why you started this company, so you can help me.” I mean, it’s kind of incredible timing.”
In an Instagram post Melissa wrote about how she is helping her husband despite his diagnosis: “We focus on fueling his body with real, whole foods, cutting out refined sugar and processed foods, spending time in nature, and nourishing his body through infrared saunas, breathing exercises, and massages support.” Dave‘s strength and comfort.”
She added: “Dave‘s resilience inspires me every day and together we are doing everything we can to support his recovery – with lots of laughter to keep spirits high.”
