Sports Illustrated ushers in a new era of sports and fashion modeling with the 2025 Swimsuit Issue, promising to celebrate the achievements and style of some of the world’s most influential athletes. The magazine released an exclusive preview of this year’s issue on Thursday, highlighting a number of trailblazers including sprinter Gabby Thomas, gymnast Suni Lee, golfer Nelly Korda and skier Eileen Gu.
Shot by photographer Ben Horton in the sun-drenched locales of Boca Raton, Florida, the issue highlights the athletes’ unique sporting journeys and their growing influence in the fashion world. The “Swimsuit” issue will be released next spring. Additional athletes and cover stars will be announced in the coming weeks.

Cameron Brink
